Montes General Maintenance and Services
Effective Date: March 6, 2026
1. Services Provided
Montes General Maintenance and Services provides handyman repairs, maintenance, and cleaning services for residential and commercial properties throughout the State of Florida.
All work is performed by licensed and insured professionals or vetted subcontractors in compliance with applicable Florida statutes and regulations.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any service request due to safety concerns, site access limitations, scheduling conflicts, or other reasonable circumstances.
2. Quotes & Pricing
All service quotes are valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise stated in writing.
Prices exclude Florida sales tax unless explicitly stated.
Any changes to the scope of work, including additional materials or unforeseen conditions, will require a revised quote.
We will provide written notice and obtain customer approval before performing additional work.
3. Booking & Payment
Deposits: Deposits of up to 50% may be required for projects exceeding $500.
Final Payment: Payment is due upon completion unless a written payment agreement has been arranged.

Late payments may accrue interest at 1.5% per month (18% annually) in accordance with Florida law. A $25 late fee may be applied after 15 days past due.
4. Consent to Communications
By booking a service, submitting a request, or providing your contact information, you expressly consent to receive communications from Montes General Maintenance and Services via:

These communications may include scheduling confirmations, service updates, payment reminders, and follow-up inquiries.
All communications are strictly for business purposes and comply with:
Florida’s Telephone Solicitation Act (Chapter 501, Part IV)
Federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) regulations.
You may revoke communication consent at any time by:
Replying “STOP” to any SMS message

Revocation requests will be processed within 48 hours.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
48+ Hours Notice: No cancellation or rescheduling fee.
Less Than 48 Hours Notice: Up to 50% of the quoted service fee may be charged.
No-Shows: The full quoted service amount may be due.
6. Liability & Warranty
Montes General Maintenance and Services maintains general liability insurance as required under Florida law.
All completed work is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for ninety (90) days from the completion date.
If a covered issue arises, we will repair or replace the work at no additional cost.
This warranty does not apply to:
Customers are responsible for securing pets, children, and valuables during scheduled service.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to provide:
Montes General Maintenance and Services is not responsible for delays, damages, or additional costs caused by incomplete or inaccurate information.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
We collect only the information necessary to provide services, including:

Contact information
Payment details
We do not sell or share customer information, except when required by law or necessary to complete service transactions.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between both parties.
If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be resolved in the county where services were performed through:
Class actions are waived, and both parties agree to waive the right to a jury trial where legally permitted.
10. Changes to Terms
Montes General Maintenance and Services reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time.
The most current version will always be posted on our website and will include the effective date listed above.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
